AKU Challenge (scholarship) Programme
We are pleased to share that AKU Challenge (scholarship) Programme has been announced in which AKU will pay for boarding and lodging. The programme offers rigorous, intellectually stimulating, and developmental co-curricular activities. This is a two-week residential programme that does not have a tuition fee. There will be opportunities:
To enhance literacy skills.
To enhance critical thinking skills
To strengthen your presentation, reading, and writing skills
To understand the need for research and spend time in the AKU laboratories with highly qualified University faculty
For career guidance to help you choose the ‘right’ career
To listen to the life stories of our alumni and leadership of the University who will share with you the secrets of their success
To help you appreciate the need for a broad-based education in preparing for professional life
To learn how to enjoy numbers
To learn to swim and participate in sports
To learn First aid
To go to low-income areas and understand how you as an individual can make a difference in their lives
To tour historical sites in Karachi and interior Sindh
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are enrolled in any national system of education in Pakistan or are registered with the AKU Examination Board, and fulfill the following criteria, may apply:
Having achieved at least 85% in the Secondary School (SSC) / Matric examinations (any group i.e., Science, Commerce, Humanities, and Arts)
Will be Completing the Higher secondary school (HSSC) exams in 2023.

The Application Deadline is Friday, February 25, 2022.
Those who have applied by the deadline will be required to write an AKU Challenge Test on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Details will be provided in the admit card. Please note that the conductance of the test will depend on the covid situation at that time.
